The starting state

Sales tax, owner payouts, payroll, expenses, reconciliation, and nightly rate decisions all handled by hand across spreadsheets and separate systems, every month, without end.

The challenge

Managing rental operations generates the same demanding work on a fixed calendar. Every month closes the same way, every owner payout has to reconcile, and every night has a right price. The work was accurate, and it consumed the calendar it was supposed to serve.

What was built

Nine workflows were mapped and implemented as governed systems, each keeping human approval at the decision points that carry money or leave the business. The rate-setting workflow was the deepest: it replaced an outside service staffed by people doing the arithmetic by hand.
